Domain Name

To get you started, first things first. You need a website. For the beginner, a domain name is the name of your website i.e www.SimpleContentCreation.com. Your domain name is what you’ll forever be known for. Trust me, you want to get this one right the first time. Don’t make the mistake of choosing the first thing that comes to mind. Write down a few alternatives. Say it out loud. Run it by some friends. Is it difficult to remember or say? Does it conjure up any imagery? You want to treat your domain name as though you were naming your first-born child because you’ve only got one shot. Be sure to read 5 Rules For Choosing A Stunning Domain Name before settling.

Hosting

There are no shortages of web hosting services, but I personally recommend Bluehost since that is who I use. I love their reliability, support, and options. In my book, they’ve been nothing but superb and I’ve never had any headaches dealing with them.

The best part of Bluehost? Their one-click installation on WordPress. WordPress is basically the backbone of your site. It’s your dashboard to create, edit, and manage your website. The best part about WordPress is the ability to install custom themes like Avada and use super useful plug-ins
